Blurt It Out!!

I wish to write about work. But this more on colleagues or specifically, unreliable junior!!

You see, in audit, we work in a team. We relied on each others work. We share the workload. So right now, being my client the 1st year client, there’s a lots to do. And there’s only 4 of us in the team (the 4th just join last monday). So there’s 2 seniors and 2 juniors.

We have apportioned the job to each of us. But usually for juniors, we gave them job bit by bit. We scared if we loaded them with eveything they cannot take it. Neway, this junior isn’t so junior, she’s been working 1 year plus already so with that long of experience, she should know how everything works.

What made me angry with her is her attitude. I never really meet a junior as rude as her. She keep on connecting to the internet (where i assumed she’s chatting, we can see the fingers movement and the facial expression). So, that was very selfish of her. I myself did not connect to the internet. In only checked internet when I’m at home. It doesn’t matter if there’s nothing to be done but there’s a LOT!! So, u being on the internet, wasting lots of time doing what was assigned, while others who didn’t connect to the internet, efficiently finished similar assignment twice as fast, is that FAIR???

And guess what, at the end of the day, she went home happily, early. Me on the other hand, have to go back office after break fast and continue working during weekend, just bcos she’s not efficient!

And the fact that she’s very rude really make me want to slap her. She can even be rude in front of our manager and director!! Where’s the respect?

My… I always control my behaviour especially in front of manager and above. Cos they the one who grade us in the end. And it’s a show of a respect too. Simple right. You show respect to those superior than u UNLESS that superior is wrong or didn’t do their work, BUT u still hv to respect them.

Uggghhhh.. and I have to work with her for final audit too. Cannot imagine how it would be.
