Danish school sports day

Danish had his first school sports day yesterday. There wasn’t much ‘sports’ as the school did it by age group and in a team. There’s no individual competition. So, all kids receive a medal, which is fair, i think. 

For danish, he was in blue team and their first event is to carry a tray containing a lime, to carry it as fast as they could without dropping it. 

The second task required a parent participation. I had to carry danish, run towards the other end, where danish peeled a banana and i had to gobble it up, before running back again. 

So, only that 2 ‘sports’. Not good but enough to excite the kids. Danish had lots of fun, running, playing and screaming with his friends. 

Today danish had a mini adventure. There’s a mini escape at gurney paragon and danish had challenging time walking on thin wire, wobbly bridge, did a flying fox and being a ‘spiderman’. 

He was scared on the first attempt. But enjoyed and even fooling around at the wobbly plank on the other attempt. He even climb the tall climbing wall quickly, like a spiderman. I’m so proud of him 🙂
